Test Results

Today we had some good news. The blood test I had taken on Monday came back negitive. Which means I DO NOT HAVE Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, Polymyositis, Scleroderma, or Sjogren's Syndrome. So we still don't know what exactly has been causing the chest pain I've been having but now we know what specialist I need to see. I did have to go in and have my sugar levels rechecked. But I'm just really happy that I don't have a new condition to learn and deal with. It is just nice to have something, although painful and annoying at times, stay the same. It has been another good day!

Our Start

This is the Kaestner Krew's blog. Right now the Kaestner Krew is just Fred and me but hopefully in a couple years we will have some little ones added to the 'krew'. But for now you are stuck with Fred and me. Since this is titled "Our Start" I'll recap how we met, dated, and married.

Fred and I met in July of 2007 at a birthday party of a friend. We were set up to meet at this party. On my side of the meeting I remember seeing him, thinking he was good looking and nice to talk to. But I had just gotten out of the ER with breathing and pain problems. I hadn't had my medication and I didn't talk to Fred a whole lot because I didn't want to mess up my chances with this good looking guy. From what Fred tells me I came down the hill and he thought, "Wow I hope that's Crys." Our next meeting was a month later when a couple of friends invited both of us out to dinner. That was a fun dinner. We laughed and talked the four of us just had a blast. I headed home after that thinking, "That was awesome...Fred is really great. I could date him." And Fred managed to check me out on the way to my car, and he liked what he saw. :)

Our third meeting was at a wedding reception, this was actually supposed to be our first date, but that was a mess caused by a misunderstanding between Leann and Fred. But the night was saved by Mike. The reception was winding down and Mike came up with the idea of a few folks going to Fred's to watch a movie. It was a good idea so of course Fred agreed and soon left with Jon for home. Mike then asks me to join them and I did. On our way to Fred's, Mike calls to tell him that I was coming. That was a big surprise to Fred but not an un-welcomed one. After Mike and Jon fell asleep I was starting to nod off too. I was sitting next to Fred on the couch so every time my head hit his shoulder I would wake up. And of course Fred really didn't mind but he did keep poking me trying to keep me awake. At one point I asked 'I thought girls were cuter when they were asleep?' his response, 'Doesn't mean I don't think you aren't cute when you are awake.' Fred's face was horror struck. I simply smiled and said, 'Smooth very smooth." When I left that night Fred had my phone number and I had a desire for him to call.
A couple days later on my 23rd birthday Fred called very nervously and asked me out for a date. Needless to say we went out had a great time and as they say the rest is history ;)
