What a busy weekend we had!!! First off Fred and I had the chance to spend Friday together, and went to see the new Chronicles of Narnia. Then Fred had to go to work at 6pm. A lot later than usual but it was to help cover a shift. Sadly though there were some serious problems at work so Fred did not get home until about 8am. Then around 11am we hop skip jump over to my mom and dad's house and start our trek to Tennessee. We
had to return Brandon to Josh and Breanna, and also it was Samuel's blessing. But first we has to stop at a great national monument, The Corvette Museum.
What a fun place. The silver car is a 1973 Stingray. This is my dream car since I was about 10 years old. It is just beautiful, especially all lined up with a bunch of other Corvettes. The long line of cars on the right are old Indy 500 Pace Cars. Every year, a new one
is made and two replicas. One of the replicas is given to the winner of the race and the others are sold. What was crazy was three of these pace cars were owned by the same man. I wish I
had that kind of money.

There was a game the kids play where you were the pit crew in a race and you had to be the fastest to change the tires, fuel the car, and put out any fires. The kids (Gibby, Molly, Brandon, Joey, and Eli) had a great time playing it. It took a while for them to figure out but once they did they enjoyed it.
but is says "Seized From A Drug Dealer". We all got a kick out of that add the awesome paint job it was a beautiful for so many reasons.
After the museum we finished the drive to Josh and Beanna's home. Josh was grilling dinner and Fred and I went to play with the kids. After a busy evening of running, jumping, wrestling and some good food we put the kids to bed and sat down to watch a movie.
Then a restless night of sleep we went to church with Josh, Bre and family.

Josh had Fred and Dad stand in the circle with a few of his friends. A few pictures and away we went on our way home. A quick stop at mom and dad's
house to pick up our car then we drove to Fred's parents house for Kaestner day. It's the day that once a month we celebrate all the birthdays for the month. two hours there and back home. And you'd think we'd let our day stop there...oh no. As I write this blog we have several friends over for game night. we are tired but it has been a wonderful weekend!!!
